Introduction about our school
The Ecole Supérieure des Arts is a school of plastic. Its teaching, given out in 3, 4 or 5 years as the case may be, combines the basic elements of an artistic approach and the professional skates to which our future graduates will have to subject themselves.
Its aims are to train men and women to be responsible and qualified in their field, to initiate them into the specific role of the creators, to make them become aware of the reality of the profession, and more widely, to make them alive to the society in which they will have to practise it.
The school gathers 4 options of visual arts (computer graphics, illustration, advertising and graphic arts) and 2 options of spatial arts (architectural drawing, interior design) set out in 3 years and sanctioned by a bachelor degree in plastic arts, visual and spatial. The school also includes two others options (fields : interior architecture and Comics editions) organized in 4 years (bachelor degree in 3 years + master degree in 1 year -60 ECTS credits).
From 2008-2009 onwards, the E.S.A. will set out 2 master degrees specialized in 2 years (120 ECTS credits) :
Specialization in heritage (in collaboration with the Institut Supérieur d’Architecture Saint-Luc Bruxelles, the Institut Royal du Patrimoine artistique de Belgique and the Institut du Patrimoine Wallon) .
Specialization in set design-space - scenographie(s) (probably in collaboration with the Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle) .
From September 2006 onwards, the E.S.A. organizes an education program teaching with the Ecole de Recherche Graphique.
